Meikai becomes Omnicom Media France's GEO platform

Omnicom Media France has selected Meikai as its GEO platform.
The partnership gives Omnicom Media France a repeatable way to examine how client brands appear in answers from generative AI systems. The work covers more than counting mentions. It looks at the prompts in which a brand appears, the language used to describe it, the competitors included beside it and the sources cited in the answer.
What the partnership covers
Omnicom Media France and Meikai will establish measurement baselines for participating brands and use them to diagnose specific gaps. A useful baseline has to keep the prompt set, market and platform visible; otherwise a change in the sample can be mistaken for a change in brand performance.
The analysis can support several agency disciplines:
- Media and strategy: identify the customer needs and buying situations in which a brand is absent or misrepresented.
- SEO and content: check whether official pages expose the facts an assistant needs to retrieve and describe the brand accurately.
- PR and earned media: see which independent sources appear in relevant answers and where source coverage is thin.
- Commerce: find product, availability or market information that differs across platforms or sources.
These are diagnostic signals. A mention does not prove preference, a citation does not prove a live page fetch, and a movement after a campaign does not by itself prove that the campaign caused it.
Why the agency role matters
A visibility gap can originate in several places. The prompt set may omit a customer need. A product page may be difficult to retrieve. An old specification may still circulate on retailer or editorial pages. A competitor may have clearer independent evidence for the same claim.
No single team owns all of those inputs. The agency can connect the measurement to media, content, search, PR and commerce work, while Meikai keeps the response-level evidence and the measurement method consistent.
How the work will be judged
The useful question is not whether one visibility score rises. It is whether a documented change improves a defined outcome for a stable set of prompts: more accurate product descriptions, better coverage of a priority need, fewer unsupported claims or stronger inclusion in a relevant shortlist.
Results need to remain separated by platform and market because the same source change can produce different responses in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or other systems. Raw answers and citations also need to remain available for review rather than being hidden behind a composite index.
The first phase of the partnership will focus on establishing those baselines, identifying material gaps and giving the relevant Omnicom Media France teams evidence they can act on.
