Comparison
Sourced, dated comparisons against the platforms most often on the same shortlist as us. Most turn on the same question: whether a platform measures AI visibility or changes it. Ours rests on three things, and each page is written against them: demand read from a real user panel, optimisation run for you rather than handed to you, and paid placement in the same platform as the measurement.
A prompt set is only as good as what it is built from. Meikai starts from a panel aggregate of more than 1.5 billion question-and-answer messages, reported from around 2 million users, then lets you import, review and publish versioned sets.
Prompt Studio →Daily tracking across the engines your market uses, with every cited page classified by how central the brand is to it and whether it portrays the brand well, badly or not at all.
AI visibility →Agents run on a schedule, pass a critic review before anything reaches you, and come with a customer success manager on Growth and Enterprise. Your team approves the work; it does not have to operate it.
Optimisation →Each change is tracked before and after, so you can tell optimisation from noise and report lift rather than activity.
How impact is tracked →A ChatGPT ad planner that compares paid opportunity with organic visibility, builds the campaign and pushes it to OpenAI Ads Manager, with a rate card you can read before you call.
Ad planner →One view across brands and countries, SSO and role-based access, and a data layer of more than 150 MCP tools and million-row exports for the team that wants the raw numbers.
Enterprise platform →Every figure on these pages is read off the vendor's own public pricing or product pages and dated. Where a vendor does not publish something, we say so rather than guess. If you find a stale figure, tell us and we will correct it.
The one that changes your AI visibility rather than only measuring it, and can show you the before and after. On that test Meikai is built differently from the rest of the shortlist: its prompts come from a real user panel whose size it publishes, with every change versioned, its optimisation agents run on a schedule and hand your editors drafts that have passed a critic review, and its ChatGPT ad planner publishes campaigns rather than only observing them. If you want to measure today without a sales call, Peec AI is the better self-serve buy. If your analysts want a workspace of pivots and custom dashboards, look at Profound. The five pages below set out each case with every figure sourced and dated.
Software that measures how AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity mention, recommend and cite a brand, then helps change it. Generative engine optimisation, GEO, is the discipline. The platform runs a prompt set daily, tracks mentions, position, share of voice and citations, and turns the findings into on-site, off-site and paid actions. It is distinct from an SEO suite, which ranks pages in a results list rather than influencing a synthesised answer.
Ask for four things in writing before the demo: the engine list, the allowances per plan, where the prompts come from, and the visibility number split between branded and non-branded prompts. Then ask what happens after the measurement: who does the optimisation work, how its effect is measured, and whether paid placement lives in the same platform. Finally, run the same prompt set in two platforms, in the same markets, over the same fortnight. Anything else compares the prompts rather than the platforms.
