Comparison
Two enterprise platforms that answer the same question in different ways. The difference is who builds the optimisation: your marketing engineers on Profound's credits, or Meikai's agents on a schedule at a published price.
All comparisonsProfound is the most heavily capitalised platform in the category, and it has built a practice around the product: a marketing engineering role with a manifesto, a university, agent templates, a job board and a community. The one difference that matters is who builds the optimisation.
At Profound your team does: custom agents, Sheets, workflows of its own, running on AI Marketer credits that are consumed each time an agent runs, against a plan price that is not published. At Meikai the optimisation is delivered: runs scheduled for you, passed through a critic review, each change measured before and after, advertising planned and published in the same platform, and all three tiers priced on the page.
If your team wants to build, Profound is a real draw. If you want the work done and the bill known in advance, this is the other answer.

Not published means the vendor does not state it on the public pages listed below. It does not mean the product cannot do it.
Profound does not publish a price. Its pricing page offers a free trial limited to ten prompts run once against ChatGPT, then an Enterprise tier described as custom. Any figure you have seen quoted elsewhere did not come from Profound's own pricing page, which is the only source we will cite here.
Profound states up to nine answer engines on Enterprise. Meikai monitors fourteen and tracks six on Growth and Enterprise. Neither number is meaningful on its own: what matters is whether the engines your customers actually use are in the list, which is a question about your markets.
Yes. Meikai reads server logs from seven CDNs, so every bot that reaches your site is recorded, with IP verification for OpenAI, Perplexity, Google and Bing rather than trust in the user agent. With a GA4 connection or our own pixel it then follows AI referral sessions through to add to cart, begin checkout and purchase. Profound's Agent Analytics reaches more domains through more integrations, so if you are attributing across a large estate of sites, ask both vendors how many domains your contract covers.
No, and that is the choice this page comes down to. Profound is built for a team that will build: custom agents, Sheets, workflows of its own. Meikai's optimisation agents run on a schedule, pass a critic review before anything reaches you, and come with a customer success manager on Growth and Enterprise. If you do have engineers, nothing is closed to them: over 150 MCP tools, a synchronous API and million-row exports feed the systems you already run. The difference is that the work happens whether or not they have the time.
The fastest way to settle a shortlist is to run the same prompts through both platforms and compare what comes back. We will set that up with your prompts and your markets.
